§ 01 · Starting point
Specialised expertise. Barely visible online.
The law firm had a clear specialisation and was actively looking for new clients. Online, however, this strength was barely visible. For relevant searches, competitors ranked ahead, even though the expertise for exactly these cases was there.
The website was technically and structurally weak. The Google Business Profile was not yet used consistently as an acquisition channel. Service pages did not answer the concrete questions of potential clients clearly enough.
The goal was therefore not simply more traffic. The law firm needed to become visible in its own niche practice area, get found for the right searches and turn that into qualified enquiries.
§ 02
Our solution
Claim the niche first
The starting point was a question: for which concrete legal problems should the law firm be found, and what are potential clients actually searching for?
Search demand, competition, existing rankings and real client questions were analysed. This produced a clear topic structure around the practice areas with the highest professional and commercial potential.
Rebuild the website
The website was rethought technically, structurally and in its user guidance.
Service pages were ordered by search intent, contact paths were simplified and the technical foundation was stabilised. The goal: anyone landing with a concrete legal problem should quickly understand whether the law firm is the right contact.
2.3–2.6 s → 1.6–1.9 sPerformance also improved measurably: LCP for real visitors dropped from 2.3–2.6 seconds to 1.6–1.9 seconds, and layout shifts were virtually eliminated.
Translate legal expertise into client questions
Legal expertise alone does not create visibility. It has to be presented so people, Google and AI systems immediately understand which concrete question a page answers.
Weak content was reworked or merged. New expert articles are built around real problems and decisions, not abstract legal terms.
The logic:
- concrete question
- understandable explanation
- matching service
- clear next step
Turn the Google Business Profile into an acquisition channel
The Google Business Profile was built up systematically: services, posts, reviews and local signals were maintained and linked to the relevant service pages.
At the same time, multilingualism was used as a market advantage. German and Russian-language content serves different searches and opens up cases where language and trust play an important role.
This created visibility not only for the law firm's name, but for concrete services, locations and problem areas.
Measure, refine, and pick up new search paths
Searches, rankings, clicks, user behaviour and contact actions are evaluated on an ongoing basis. What works is expanded. What stalls is reworked.
The same approach now applies to AI visibility. Content is structured not only for classic Google search, but so that expertise, answers and topic relationships are also clearly recognisable to AI assistants.
The result is not a static SEO project, but a digital knowledge base that works across several channels.

§ 04 · Why it worked
Not more reach at any price, but the right searches.
What mattered was the interplay of niche focus, technical foundation, solution-focused content and consistent local visibility. Content was aligned with real client questions. The Google Business Profile was linked to relevant service pages. Multilingual content reaches additional audiences. And because the landing pages are already optimised for search intent, trust and contact, paid campaigns benefit from this foundation too.
